my first born, that is. i'm loving every minute of my time with her these days. she's so much fun and oh-so-entertaining. we find ourselves rolling on the floor, laughing hysterically just about every day around here.
what she's doing these days ...
* she LOVES her baby sister. she gets so excited when mykah is awake because often times she is sleeping. karsyn says "mykah's awake!" and runs to her room. which often leads mykah to have really big eyes and tight fists. karsyn always says "hey mykah reese!"
* she still has those baby blue eyes. to die for.
* she's smarter than her own good.
* she can count to 15 and say her ABC's all the way through.
* she LOVES to sing and dance. right now, she's singing "Delta Dawn" (for who knows what reason), "Jesus Loves Me", "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star", and "Whole World".
* she recently learned how to ride her tricycle. there will be a post on that coming soon. she amazes me at the coordination and physical skills she has. she watches big kids do things and follows them exactly.
* she loves her daddy. the other day daddy was explaining to her that he had to go make money for us and she quickly replied in the saddest, squeakiest little girl voice, "i go make money, daddy." ugh. so sweet. and i wondered to myself for a few seconds, "is it illegal to put a 2 year old to work?"
* she's tall, but hasn't gained weight in about a year. she eats though. believe me, she eats.
* she gets car sick. my absolute least favorite thing about her.
* she has a teenager's attitude. she copies everything we say, but adds such sass to it all. she tells us "knock it off", "i said no", "be quiet, mykah's sleeping", and so on. it's so hard to make her sit in time out for being disrespectful when she says it so cute.
* she speaks full sentences and says more than a 2 year old should know how to say. nothing bad, just impressive. her vocabulary blows my mind.
* she's sweet as can be though. she uses her manners always. she says "thank you", "no thank you", "bless you", and "excuse you" all in her sweet little mousy voice. sometimes she doesn't quite get it though. i'll tell her "karsyn, pick that up now please" and she replies "no thank you" and continues on her way.
* she goes to mother's day out twice a week and has since she was 5 months old. she loves it and says "i go play my friends!"
* she loves to swing and slide. we do that frequently.
i love everything about my little girl (except the car sickness stuff). she melts my heart every day and always lets me hug and squeeze on her. and her kisses are the best. her blonde curls make me laugh and i usually wonder what it would be like to have a girl with long hair. she wouldn't be karsyn without them though. and those eyes. i can simply fall into those eyes everytime i see them. her smile is as sweet as they come and her personality rocks my world. she's smart as can be and i can't imagine my life without her. i miss her right now as she sleeps in her bed. i wouldn't have that any other way either.
love you baby girl.
xoxo
