it seems as though mykah is having a bit of trouble with her tummy and that nasty reflux. last thursday i had an appointment with her to check up on her reflux, the formula, and the meds she is on. she seems to be spitting up a whole lot more than she was AND she's not gaining weight.
so, onto the hospital we went. again. i'm actually not liking that place this year. we registered. got banded up. waited. waited. waited. then had an ultrasound of her little tum-tum. she had to drink 2 oz of pedialyte so they could watch fluid running through her system. seems as though everything was pretty normal.
doctor said to try soy formula. we tried. for one day. we knew right away that it wasn't right for her. she THREW up non stop. so back to the similac sensitive rs we went. she does so much better on that. the last few days we've tried different techniques while feeding and burping and it has seemed to help some.
need to get that girl fattened up, although she looks pretty darn healthy to me. and, i keep thinking to myself, when was the last time someone told you that you needed to gain weight? hmm? NEVER.
i'm just saying ...
