Day 58

I never post pictures of myself!  Ever ever.  This day was finally sunny outside and I can't even remember when I last wore sunglasses.  You see, I realized a few months ago that I couldn't see.  Like, I can see, but pretty much everything is blurry.  My brilliant husband said "maybe you should try wearing your glasses."  Yep, I have had glasses for a while and never wear them.  I didn't think I needed them, but my vision has gotten much worse in the last year.  I think pregnancy does that to you!  So, the glasses are plastered to my face all day, everyday.  And I hate it.  I have tried contacts and I just can't seem to be okay with sticking my finger in my eye, however, after wearing glasses for a few months, I think I can give contacts a try again.  I'll be going to the eye doctor very soon.

This sunny day was a day that I had been done with my glasses.  I needed to sport my shades!  And I went all day not being able to see AND driving.  I'm a smart girl, huh.  Thankfully, I was able to realize that no one was safe, so I put the glasses back on.  You're welcome.

Day 57

I sent this picture to the BFF and it made me realize a few things ...
1.  I hate Texas weather.  That day I was outside in shorts & flip flops and yesterday we were bundled in hoodies and gloves.  Today, it's raining and tomorrow is supposed to be warm again.  So dumb.
2.  I should probably start doing squats.
3.  I should spend more time outside.  Those are some WHITE legs.  Actually, I've finally decided that it's okay to have no color on my legs.  I spent years tanning or letting myself get sunburned, that my skin is paying for it now.  It took until I was 32 though.  The sun is so damaging and, although I have always known that, I just wanted a nice tan.  It's so not worth it now.  I'll be the girl in the shade, extra white from sunscreen, and a big ol' hat on at the pool this summer.  And so will my kids.
4.  I have a pretty lame life to be texting pictures of my legs and feet to the BFF.
