pajamas. all day.

Kid2 is done with preschool.  I'm wondering how that happened, while I'm thoroughly enjoying not having to drive across town ever.  We seriously stay in our pajamas all day.  We take Kid1 to school in our pajamas and we come home and stay in our pajamas.  Unless, of course, we randomly decide to go somewhere, but that doesn't happen often.  We like home.  And why not stay comfortable.  Plus, I work from home and am taking full advantage of not having to pull real clothes on.  Yoga pants FOREVER!

Somehow, however, I'm still knee deep in piles of laundry.  It's a mystery to me.  And I'm certainly starting to believe that the laundry fairy really doesn't exist.  Or she hates me.  Same goes for the cleaning fairy.  The grocery shopping fairy.  The bathing kids fairy.  The mowing fairy.  And now I realize just now lazy I am.  Back to reading blogs ... in my pajamas.

Day 142

This guy loves to play on his sister's bed.  With her play makeup.  And I'm all like "whatever keeps the toddler busy."

The Great Catch Up

I'm known for it.  Quite famous actually.
You know.  I get a month ... this time two and a half months ... behind on my daily blog posts and spend a day scouring my photo files for pictures to edit and post.  Ones worthy of being posted.  Those are typically few and far between.

I want to quit.  Not even catch up.  Not even start from here and move forward.  A large part of me wants to just stop the daily posting.  I want to move one with something different.  I haven't been good AT ALL at even taking pictures, so I'm really scrounging at this point to even find enough to take up the days I have empty.

Then the OCD comes out.  When I look at the page that lists all of my posts, there are gaping holes in the numbers.  Day 123.  Day 132.  Day 134.  Day 135. ... Day 138.  Day 141.  It's hard for me to walk away from the gaps.  And I kick myself for not sticking with it.  My goal when posting the daily pictures each year is to be able to print the years into books.  I've only done one and that was way back in 2007.  Seems like a century ago.  It nearly is, actually.

I think I will trudge forward.  I will be glad I did someday.  After I print 2008. 2009. 2010. 2011. 2012. and 2013.  Holy catch up!

Day 134

Mykah's preschool ceremony was today.  The godly trait that her teacher picked out for her was AFFECTION.  My sweet girl.  She's definitely that.
