it's so hard to believe that karsyn is about to be 20 month old. oh how it has gone by too fast. i'm trying to enjoy these times while it's only her and trying to savor every moment i have with her alone. her favorite thing to do right now is play with her babies. i'm hoping it is a good sign of things to come, but sometimes these poor babies endure things that no human should ever have to. other times, you would wish you were her baby. here is one of my current favorite pictures.
this photo shoot quickly came to a close as soon as she discovered how to stand in the window and wrap the curtains around her. those activities resulted in a nasty fall and a quick rearranging session of the living room furniture. it's trial and error around here.
here is another favorite. this was a very serious mud pie making session with the neighbors. did you know there is actually a recipe for mud pies? it requires a certain amount of every ingredient. i have never seen karsyn act like she knew what she was doing more than while she was making mud pies. it was like she was performing brain surgery. so serious. and there were no room for errors or they had to start over. by the end, she was disgustingly filthy, her face was red (under all the mud), and she was exhausted.
